Hand-painted in Indian ink onto nearly 100 year old book pages from the novel Vanity Fair, an English novel by William Makepeace Thackeray. The silhouetted lovers give an interplay between the painting and the book pages in the background.

The painting comes flat on canvas with the the book pages bonded and sealed with protective material, ready for either framing or mounting on stretcher bars.
